AAWGA President
By Laws Article V. Sec. 1: The President, or in her absence or disability, the Vice President shall preside at all regular and called meetings of the Executive Committee, the Governing Board and the General Membership and shall have supervision over all affairs of the Association. The President may appoint individual members to any Special Committee that she may deem necessary to assist in achieving the Association’s goals and fostering its purposes.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Direct and assist the Secretary in gathering and updating documents governing AAWGA to be distributed electronically and/or in a notebook to all Reps and Officers at the January organization meeting.

- Assist Treasurer in the preparation of the Proposed Budget for the year
- Appoint a Nominating Committee comprised of three representatives (while acting in an Ex Officio capacity) before August 31st to select a slate of officers for the coming year. The Committee’s report will be announced at the Association’s final event.
- Direct the Secretary to make changes to the Significant RULINGS as such changes are voted on and approved. Secretary will make changes and send copy to all Officers and Reps.
- Appoint a member to conduct an audit of the Treasurer’s books through the end of the year.
- Receive a year-end report and suggestions from all Officers and Reps.
