TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURE

The winner will be determined by matching scorecards for the total on holes #10 through #18 inclusive.  If this does not break the tie, scores on holes in handicap order beginning with the #1 handicap hole will be used until a winner is determined.

AAWGA RULES TO HELP SPEED PLAY (Additional local course rules may also apply).

  1. A provisional ball may be hit across a water hazard (yellow or red markings), before determining if the previous ball is playable.
  2. After hitting a tee shot into a wet or dry hazard (excluding a bunker) the player proceeds with one of two options; re-tee for her next hit or proceed to the drop zone if located before the hazard (hitting 3 from either choice). If a second ball enters the hazard, the player takes the appropriate penalty strokes and proceeds to the drop zone on the other side of the hazard hitting shot #5. The player may announce that they are walking around after the first ball goes into the hazard and takes the required strokes (hitting shot #5, but saves another ball from going into the hazard.  This rule does not apply to the Eclectic and the AAWGA Championship tournaments.
